week 11: Reflection

My expectations of this course were to learn more and appreciate more about art. I feel that my expectations were met, i learned about a lot of different artists and i have a better understanding about what goes in to making different styles of art works. I would still define art as anything that a person sees as art. Van Gogh was my favorite artist in the beginning of this course. Now i would have to say i do not have a favorite artist. I cannot choose just one but i have favorite pieces from most artists. I do still like older works compared to newer ones. I think my choice of artist has changed to undecided because i have gained a better understanding of all styles of art. I feel the same as i did before about taking an online course. This is the forth one i have taken so i knew what to expect.
